The challenge
The operations team scheduled live classes, managed recordings and coordinated faculty across spreadsheets and messaging groups. Students missed sessions, recordings were hard to find, and nobody had a single view of the timetable.
What I built
- Operations web app. A central admin to create batches, schedule live classes, assign faculty and publish recordings.
- Mobile app for iOS and Android. Built in React Native so one codebase serves both platforms. Users see their timetable, join live sessions and watch recordings.
- Organised recording library. Recordings grouped by course, batch and topic, so finding a past class takes seconds.
- Reminders and notifications ahead of each live class.
- Roles and permissions for admins, faculty and operations staff.
Why two apps
The operations team needed a powerful desktop workspace, while faculty and learners needed something simple on their phones. Both share one backend and one source of truth.
